Double cleansing is a Korean facial ritual. It plays a key role in K-beauty routines. It is a 2-step cleansing method:

Makeup remover oil

Appliquée sur peau sèche, l'huile dissout le maquillage waterproof, l'écran solaire et le sébum. Elle attire les impuretés grasses sans décaper.

The method, the order of the steps, and everything you need to know about Oil-lyn and Gel-lyn.

A two-step Korean ritual. First, an oil cleanser on dry skin that dissolves makeup, SPF, and sebum. Then a cleansing gel on damp skin that removes sweat and pollution. The K-Swiss Beauty duo brings both together: Oil-lyn and Gel-lyn.

Always use the oil first: Oil-lyn on dry skin to dissolve makeup and SPF, then Gel-lyn on damp skin to remove any remaining impurities.

No, in the evening is enough: that's when you remove makeup, SPF, and the day's pollution. In the morning, a simple rinse with water is enough.

Yes, but you’ll only get a partial cleanse. Gel-lyn removes water-soluble impurities (sweat, pollution), but doesn’t dissolve oily makeup or SPF. For truly clean skin, both steps are necessary.

Yes. Oil-lyn dissolves waterproof makeup, sunscreen, and sebum, and draws out oily impurities without stripping the skin.

Yes. Both have been tested on all skin types, including sensitive skin. Gel-lyn, which is sulfate- and paraben-free, caused no reactions among our testers and passed an eye irritation test conducted by an independent laboratory: it does not sting the eyes.

Because it is formulated without harsh sulfates. Less lather doesn’t mean less effective: Gel-lyn cleanses while respecting the skin’s hydrolipidic film.

Yes, both are scented with naturally derived lemon verbena. For Gel-lyn, the fragrance is sourced in Switzerland and intentionally used at a low concentration: none of our testers experienced an allergic reaction.

About two months with daily use: a small dab is enough for the whole face. The 100 ml bottle is also allowed in carry-on luggage.

In Valais, in a local laboratory that handles the entire process: extraction of active ingredients, formulation, production, and packaging. The key ingredients are sourced in Switzerland (sunflower oil, grape seed, Valais apricots, alpine flowers), and the bottles are made of infinitely recyclable aluminum.

In 2025, 437 people joined our WhatsApp channel to help us choose the products’ name, color, and format. 95 of them tested the final prototype. The K-Swiss Beauty duo was born from their votes and feedback.
