The Lynell Family
@lynellswitzerland Some insights about the Lynellians, the characters that are free to express themselves, just the way they are #graphicdesign #swissgraphicdesign #skincarebrand ♬ original sound - Lynell Switzerland

In 1974, the American Institute of Graphic Arts came up with a set of pictograms. These symbols were designed to be simple, clear, and most importantly, easy for everyone to understand, no matter their language or background. They even used the Swiss font Helvetica to draw them, which really helped make them look official and super clear. Today, these symbols are considered a classic example of great graphic design and are still used everywhere because they're so simple and versatile.

At Lynell, we want to offer cosmetics that celebrate the individuality and diversity of all forms of beauty. To express this, we decided to use these symbols to create the “Lynellois.” These characters break free from the mold of conformity that society tries to force us into. Each character has their own style, personality, and mindset; they are free to thrive in any environment and to be accepted for who they are, just as they are, without filters.
