The origin
Since 1955, Lynell Switzerland has embodied Swiss elegance, quality, and expertise in cosmetics. Founded by Madeleine Burgener in Lausanne, the brand flourished throughout the country for nearly 40 years before quietly fading away. In 2023, her grandson Marc-Antoine and Manon, a cosmetics enthusiast, brought this iconic brand back to life with a clear mission: to reconcile youth with healthy, natural, and authentic beauty.
The challenge: Create the first Swiss K-Beauty routine
We’re launching an entirely new concept: Swiss K(lean)-Beauty, inspired by Korean K-beauty but reimagined with Swiss and sustainable values.
Why this project?
Korean skincare is renowned for its effectiveness, innovation, and exceptional textures. But it also comes with a significant environmental cost: long-distance transportation, excessive packaging, and a high carbon footprint.
We’re convinced that we can do better.
Our ambition: to create a range of products inspired by Korean rituals, but 100% developed, formulated, and produced in Switzerland, using locally sourced ingredients of natural origin and tested according to the highest dermatological standards—of course.
The first product?
In fact, this idea inspired us so much that we decided to launch not one, but two products at once! A double face cleanser with an oil-and-gel duo.
- Oil-based cleanser: effectively removes makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum without irritating the skin.
- Gel cleanser: deeply cleanses water-soluble impurities (sweat and pollution) for fresh, clean skin.
