Because water does not dissolve oil, and oil does not dissolve water.

Sweat, pollution, and water-soluble impurities that build up throughout the day: only a gel can truly remove them. Gel-lyn is the second step in the ritual. The one we often skip, even though it makes all the difference.

We could have made a standard cleansing gel. Instead, we chose to create one with a clinically tested Valais alpine flower, a natural lemon verbena fragrance, and ingredients that are 100% naturally derived.

Aster Tataricus extract, an Alpine flower from Valais

A powerful anti-inflammatory, it reduces blemishes and comedones

Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside + Decyl Glucoside + Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate

A trio of gentle, naturally derived surfactants. They cleanse without stripping, preserve the hydrolipidic film, and respect the skin microbiome.

Lemon peel essential oil

Responsible for Gel-lyn’s characteristic sensation of freshness. Combined with lemon verbena, it gives the gel its fresh, slightly tangy natural fragrance

INGREDIENTS: Aqua, Glycerin, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Decyl Glucoside, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba Gum, Sodium Levulinate, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Anisate, Fragrance, Citral, Limonene, Aster Tataricus Root/Rhizome Extract, Citrus Limon Peel Oil

Excellent 100/100

Step 2 of the cleansing ritual.

  1. After using Oil-lyn and rinsing the oil off with lukewarm water
  2. Dispense a small amount of Gel-lyn into wet hands
  3. Lather between your palms
  4. Gently massage your face in circular motions
  5. Rinse with lukewarm water
  6. Pat dry without rubbing

Frequency: Every evening. In the morning, simply rinsing with water is sufficient.

Tip: Lukewarm water is the right temperature—not hot, which dries the skin, nor cold, which does not rinse well.

The Gel-lyn bottle is made of aluminum — one of the most recyclable materials in the world.

Aluminum can be recycled infinitely without any loss of quality. By choosing Gel-lyn, you avoid single-use plastic.

How to recycle your bottle:

  1. Separate the bottle from the pump — the pump contains mixed plastic/metal parts
  2. The aluminum bottle → aluminum/metal recycling bin (separate collection)
  3. The pump → household waste (mixed, inseparable components)

Tip: rinse the empty bottle before placing it in the recycling bin.

Your questions about Gel-lyn

Find the answers to the most frequently asked questions about our Gel-lyn facial cleanser here.

Yes. The formula is gentle, sulfate-free, and paraben-free. It has been tested on a variety of skin types—combination, dry, and sensitive—with no reactions observed.

Yes, but you’ll only get a partial cleanse. The gel removes water-soluble impurities, sweat, and pollution, but it doesn’t dissolve oil-based makeup or SPF. For truly clean skin, both steps are necessary.

Gel-lyn is formulated without harsh sulfates. Less lather does not mean less effectiveness; it simply means a gentler formula that respects the skin’s hydrolipidic film.

No. The formula passed an eye irritation test conducted by an independent laboratory. In addition, this is one of the most frequent comments from our testers: the gel doesn’t sting the eyes.

A small amount is enough. Gel-lyn is economical, so you don’t need to use much.

Every evening, after Oil-lyn. In the morning, a simple rinse with water is enough.
